What Drives Me

While studying filmmaking in college, I was drawn to the art of storytelling and its impact on our emotions and connections with others. My interest shifted from the stories told externally to the internal stories we each hold— our self-narratives. 

These self-narratives inform our sense of self and worldviews, wielding the power to bolster or undermine our drive and courage to act. This realization led me to explore the role of self-narratives in shaping personal fulfillment. At the University of Pennsylvania, where I earned a Master of Science in Organizational Development (MSOD), my primary focus was group and team dynamics, change management, and organizational coaching. Building on this foundation through a Master of Philosophy (MPhil), I delved deeper into the specialized study of organizational consulting and executive coaching, emphasizing client-centered coaching and the process consultation model.

As a Leadership Development Consultant, I work with executives and managers to develop the essential leadership skills for navigating today's dynamic organizations. I also co-facilitate a graduate-level course for working professionals, titled Coaching and Consulting Tools and Techniques at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, I served as Master of Ceremonies and organizer for the Graduate School Alliance for Education in Coaching’s 2022 International Coaching Conference. I am currently an active member of the Marketing & Communication Committee. I bring a breadth of experience as a speaker, facilitator, and moderator, delving into key areas such as coaching education, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), leadership, and career development. 

My intercultural experience includes being a Fulbright Fellow in South Korea in 2005 and 2006 and being fluent in Spanish. When I’m not coaching or consulting, I enjoy spending time with my family.
